There are many ways to use Za’tar spice, and this Za’tar Garlic Salmon recipe is one that you must experience. It does not only offer you nutritional benefits but it is also delicious and enjoyable.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Salmon fillet (without skin).
  • 12 scrubbed baby potatoes.
  • 6 oz. Broccoli florets.
  • Two cups of grape tomatoes.
  • 2 TSP Dry Zaatar spice Mix
  • 2 TBSP ZA-HA Zaatar Spread
  • 3 TBSP fresh minced garlic
  • 1 TSP coriander divided into bits
  • Juiced lemon (1)
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1: Preheat oven to a temperature of 400o C

Step 2: Add the broccoli, grape tomatoes, and potatoes together in a large bowl.

Step 3: Throw in 2 TBSP of extra olive oil into the mixture.

Step 4: Add some salt and pepper, and then 1 TSP of ZA-HA Dry za’atar spice, 1 TBSP of minced garlic, and ½ TSP if coriander.

Step 5: Mix thoroughly to ensure that the spices coat the vegetable adequately. Then, use a rim to transfer the vegetables onto a baking pan.

Step 6: Allow the salmon to dry up, then add salt and pepper. Drop some extra virgin olive oil on it and make a garlic spread on top of it. Add the rest of the za’atar and coriander.

Step 7: Cut the already seasoned salmon and add the vegetables. Place everything on the baking sheet and drizzle extra virgin olive oil on the salmon and vegetables.

Step 8: Place inside the oven and leave to bake for 15 to 16 minutes.

Step 9: After the 15 minutes have elapsed, remove from oven, squeeze some lemon juice on the salmon and spread on the ZA-HA Zaatar Spread.

You can enjoy this with Lebanese rice and your favorite salad. You can also enjoy it with other sides, but best believe that the za’atar spice makes a great deal of difference.
