There are so many great uses for zaatar spread. The great thing about zaatar is that it’s an extremely healthy spice blend.
Our zaatar spread is no exception, it’s a wonderful blend of olive oil, sesame seeds, roasted garlic, and of course, zaatar seasoning.
For the ultimate healthy (not to mention quick and easy) snack, pair our zaatar spread with a salad! It makes the perfect lunch or afternoon snack. Here is the super-simple recipe.
Za-Ha Zaatar Spread Super Simple Salad
Dressing:
Mix in blender:
1 cup orange juice
3 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp ZA-HA seasoning spread
1 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Salad:
Whatever you want!
I mixed organic spinach, head lettuce, and a bit of green onion, along with plenty of cooked, cooled, chopped asparagus.
You likely won’t need all of the dressing.
Top with some feta cheese and a few mandarin wedges…a drizzle of tahini is wonderful too if you like.
